Composition of carrot oil
Concentrated in active principles (those found in carrot), it is a source of:
-essential fatty acids
-vitamin E (a vitamin inherently antioxidant)
-provitamins A.
It contains all the components of the carrot: vitamins A, B, C, E, K and beta-carotene (provitamin A), phytosterols, flavin, carotenoids, organic acids (malic acid), minerals and trace elements. One also finds potassium in large quantities as well as phosphorus, calcium, sodium and magnesium. In lesser quantities are also present iron, zinc, copper, manganese and selenium. It is a highly antioxidant composition

Advice on usage for your skin
All you need to do is add a few drops to your usual face cream.
For daycare, carrot oil will help prevent ageing and will also make the skin softer again, making it more elastic.
You can also use it in association with another vegetable oil.

Practical advice
- Mixed with your oil preparation, applied daily to the face, neck and cleavage.
- Concentration depending on usage:
-tanning treatment: 50 to 80% Carrot oil macerate in your preparation.
-after-sun treatment: 30 to 50% Carrot oil macerate in your preparation.
-daycare for the face: concentration of Carrot oil macerate of 20 to 30% in your preparation. - As a fatty phase in the composition of body and face creams.
Recipe ideas
- Dull skin
30 ml of Carrot Oil + 20 ml of Apricot Kernel Oil. - Self-tanning oil, tanned skin
100 ml Carrot OIL + 30 ml Jojoba VO + 35 drops of Carrot EO + 10 drops of Vetiver or Sandalwood EO.
Clean your skin and then apply the mixture once or twice a day, working up your legs, starting from your ankles. The application must be very uniform. - Peeling mask
Mix 1 teaspoon of carrot oil with 1 teaspoon of organic liquid honey and 1 teaspoon of yoghurt. Apply to your face and rinse with clear water.
Haircare advice
Very nourishing, this oily macerate helps dry hair to regain its strength and vitality with each treatment. Therefore, its repairing properties are particularly well suited to the needs of dry and damaged hair. It can also be combined with other varieties of vegetable oil.
If your hair is dull, dry, damaged or too voluminous:
1/Warm a few drops of oil in your hands before applying to your hair.
2/Wrap your hair in a warm towel for at least 15 to 30 minutes and rinse.
2/Or leave the oil on as a mask overnight to deeply nourish your hair and scalp at the same time.
Risks, precautions and counter-indications of carrot infused oil
Please note that carrot oil does not protect against UV rays and therefore does not replace sun cream.
This coloured vegetable oil can stain your clothes, so we advise you to make sure it penetrates well.
Usage precautions
Before applying to the skin, and to avoid any risk of allergy, do a test in the fold of your elbow. If no abnormal reaction occurs within 24 hours after the test, you can apply the VO to a larger area of your body. If there is a reaction, avoid any application to the skin.
Conservation mode
Sensitive to oxidation, carrot oil should be stored in a cool place away from light and air.
Prefer small containers for your oil, especially if you use it with a dropper. Once opened, it cannot be kept indefinitely.
At a temperature below 10°, there is a risk of crystallisation of the vegetable oil.
