The Flu

You are tired, everything hurts, afever, the flu virus has taken hold of you Raect immediately, the very minute the firdt symptoms appear !

The recipe :
1 drop cinnamon, 1 drop ravintsara, 1 drop lemon, 1 teaspoon of honey, very hot water, lemon juice and enjoy !
And diffuse eucalyptus in a diffuser for essential oils


ravintsara reflex
apply 3 drops in the lower back along the spine and on the chest ans swallow 1 drop mixed in a little spoonful of honez 4 times a day

Unpleasant this feeling of a blocked or runny nose

Melaleuca reflex
5 drops on a handkerchief and breathe in 4 to 6 times a day

Added advice
Clean the nasal mucous with a sea spray 3 to 5 times a day



No need to describe constipation, we all know what it is like …

Ginger reflex
2 drops of pure essential oil on the belly and massacre in large circles and press a little in order to massage the intestine.

Addede advice
Most constipation is the result of a bad diet (lack of fibre and/or lack of hydratation), physical sluggishness or stress. Change that habit !


  • 30 drops of Noble Laurel essential oil
  • 20 drops of Ravintsara essential oil

  • Place 2 drops of this mixture on a cotton bud
  • Apply to the area concerned 3 time a day for 5 days

  • 20 drops of Peppermint essential oil
  • 20 drops of Noble Laurel essential oil
  • 60 drops of sunflower oil


  • >Pour 6 drops of mixture in ½ glass of tepid water
  • Bathe the mouth twice a day (do not swallow / limited duration)

  • 25 drops of Niaoili essential oil
  • 25 drops of Tea tree essential oil
  • 50 drops of True Lavender essential oil

  • Tea Tree essential oil stimulates immune defences. It is ideal for killing viruses that cause plantar warts
  • Apply 3 drops of EO on the lesion with a cotton bud morning and night until the wart has receded
  • Try not to spill around the area as it can be very irritating
  • It is not advised during the first month of a pregnancy

Stomach Burn

Massage the solar plexus with 2 or 3 drops of Tarragon EO to ease the stress ans spasms

You can also take 1 drop of Basil EO in 1cc of honey in crisis situations


The additional trick :
avoid stewed meats in gravy, very fresh bread, delicatessen, alcool and coffee

Grandma’s tip
eat lightly at night and try to go to bed within 2 hours after the meal, sleeping in half-sitting position.

Travel sickness


  • Pour 1 drop of lemon EO + 1 drop of peppermint EO on half a sugar cube and let it melt in your mouth. Repeat this if necessary during the trip
  • For children: 1 drop of ginger EO on half a sugar cube and suck. Repeat if necessary 2 or 3 times

The additional trick for everyone:

  • Eat before you leave
  • Travel without smells (cigarettes, food…)
  • Drink in sips

If you have a choice of seating:

  • the driver or front passenger seat in a car
  • a seat above a wing in a plane
  • a middle cabin in a boat
  • in the travelling direction for a train or a tram

For a child:

  • breathe in fresh air every 2 hours
  • not too many clothing layers
  • a good night’s sleep before departure

Ingestion or difficult digestion

Do you feel that after a meal your digestive system is idling ?

The EO you need is : LEMON
It stimulates and purifies the digestive system.
It freshens the breath

Usages :
1 drop of Lemon EO on a neutral tablet (or any other medium) after your meal. Let it melt under your tongue.
Lemon EO can be replaced by grapefruit or peppermint.

The extra tips :

  • Remember to eat slowly and chewing well.
  • Don’t stress ! It can be reason of poor digestion.
  • Avoid copious dinners.

Gingivitis (gum disease)

It is an inflammation of the gums that makes them swell and ache. Often, when brushing your teeth your gums bleed.

The EO you need is: TEA TREE
Efficient in disinfecting and fighting bacteria.
Quickens the healing of wounds.

1 drop on the affected area 3 times a day.
or have a mouth bath with 4 drops diluted in a glass of water after brushing your teeth.
Tea tree EO can be replaced by geranium or laurel

The extra tip:

  • Don’t eat too much sugar.
  • Choose a toothbrush with soft bristle.
  • See your dental hygienist regularly to remove plaque because plaque favours gingivitis.

Muscle soreness

Lack of exercise or performing an unusual movement can lead to muscles soreness the following day.

The EO you need is :  WINTERGREEN
It is the EO of sports people.
The heating effect it produces is ideal for muscle preparation before exercising and used after exercising, il will relax them

Usage :
2 drops of EO in a tablespoon of VO and massage.
Wintergreen EO can be replaced by nutmeg or Scot pine.

The extra tip :

  • Do warning exercises before a workout, stretch out after a workout.
  • Keep well hydrated.
  • Enjoy a warm bath after your workout as it will ease muscular ache.


  • 6 ml fine lavender essential oil
  • 3 ml bergamot essential oil
  • 1 ml ylang ylang essential oil

Diffuse 30 drops in the bedroom 10 minutes before bedtime

No-one should be in the room during that time
