Vegetable oils for dry hair

Apricot vegetable oil: Helps to care for dry hair because it is nourishing and contains a natural sunscreen.

Sweet almond vegetable oil: rich in vitamin A and E, it has soothing and nourishing properties. It can help to make dry hair stronger and softer.

Argan oil: rich in fatty acids and in vitamin A and E, this oil is very nourishing and can be used as carrying oil when making a product for dry, brittle hair. It protects against the sun, who is not the friend of dry hair!

Avocado oil: gives some protection against UV rays, very penetrating and doesn’t leave an oily film. It can be mixed with other vegetal oils and essential oils or applied on its own on the tips and on damaged hair.

Coconut oil: this very nourishing oil can be applied in very small quantity on the scalp to strengthen and thicken hair from the roots to the tips.

Olive oil: the hydrating, nourishing and softening qualities of this oil make it a good support in the preparation of recipes containing essential oils.

If your tips are damaged, you can apply pure olive oil on them. Bring back your hair to the top of your head and cover it with a wet warm towel. Leave the towel on your head for 30 minutes and reheat it if it becomes too cold.
