Botany:
This aromatic herb comes from Asia and flowers in late summer (white flowers). There are 50 to 150 species of basil. It is a bushy plant, 20 to 60 cm tall, with oval leaves, light green to dark green and a strong scent. Its smell is fresh, lively, often aniseed, sometimes with hints of clove

PRACTICE
Difficult digestion, bloating: add 2 drops EO in 2 ml VO, then massage on the lower abdomen or 1 drop under the tongue (after medical advice) after your meal
Colitis infectious or inflammatory: add 2 drops EO in 2 ml VO, then massage on the lower abdomen
Sickness, concentration, tension reduction, mental fatigue: add a few drops on a handkerchief and breathe
Painful periods: add 1 drop of EO in 3 ml of any VO. Firstly mix well, then massage on the lower tummy for a few minutes. Repeat if needed
Cooking: very strong, it is used in cooking at the rate of 1 drop to flavour an entire dish. You can also flavour your olive oil in adding 2 drops in a 100 ml bottle

CAUTION
Very potent oil
- Not advised during the first 3 months of pregnancy and in small children
- Avoid eye and mucous membranes contact.
- Not advise in case of estrogenic cancer
- As a rule, test the product by applying a little in the crook of your elbow or on your wrist before using it, at least 48 hours before use
- Skin irritative, do not use pure: in other words, make a strong dilution in vegetable oil (15% EO in 85% VO)
- Do not diffuse pure, mix with other oils (part basil up to 10% max)
- Keep out of reach of children.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Keep in the original bottle, away from air and light, at a temperature below 25C
Shelf life: 2/3 years from when you open the bottle
