Chemistry:
- Linalool – A floral and slightly spicy terpene alcohol that contributes to the delicate, sweet, and floral fragrance of the coffee blossom.
- Geraniol – A monoterpene alcohol with a rose-like scent, enhancing the floral and fruity nuances in the absolute.
- Benzyl alcohol – A compound that imparts a mild, sweet, and floral note, adding to the overall smooth and soft aroma of the coffee blossom.

Family: Rubiaceae
The coffee tree is small, less than 9 meters tall, and usually grows in the shade of taller trees. The leaves remain green all year round, are shiny and oval-shaped with a short stem. Fragrant white flowers grow in small clusters of 3 to 7 next to the leaves. Their corolla is tube-shaped with 4 or 5 lobes.
What is an absolute ?
Coffee blossom absolute is an aromatic material derived from the flowers of the coffee plant (Coffea arabica or Coffea canephora). It has a rich, complex fragrance and is used in perfumery for its delicate, sweet, and floral notes.
