The Monoi Tiki Tahiti is the cult product, the founding reference of all monoi.
Its characteristic aroma suggests holidays and warm sand. Above all, its floral aromas are gentle and delicate. It is the ultimate general therapy, derived from the maceration of fresh Tiaré flowers in fine coconut oil.
The red color of this oil enhances your skin tone, while providing (very slight) protection from the sun’s rays.
Monoï repairs and protects dry or damaged hair to make it supple and silky.
• Apply daily to dry ends: Monoï balances the texture of your hair. For example, use it preventively before a bath, in a swimming pool or in the sea to protect your hair from the attacks of chlorine or salt.
• As a weekly hair mask for the entire hair, Monoï becomes a wonderful restorative treatment, allowing hair to regain volume, suppleness and shine.
Tip: after applying the oil to your hair, wrap it with a towel and leave it on for as long as possible (overnight is ideal). Finally wash them with a mild shampoo. This operation is particularly recommended after prolonged exposure to the sun (the hair scales are then completely open, allowing the Monoï to penetrate deep into the hair fiber.
Monoï de Tahiti freezes at 20°C. To make it fluid, simply expose it near a heat source (in the sun, radiator, under lukewarm water, etc.). These transitions from solid to liquid do not affect Monoï de Tahiti and do not diminish its properties. However, avoid harshing your oil with a sudden temperature change which could alter its scent.
Monoï hydrates the upper layers of the epidermis in a gradual and lasting manner, and softens the skin.
• Applied to clean, dry or damp skin, Monoï leaves your skin supple, satiny and delicately scented. Used daily, even on the face, it provides natural hydration by instantly penetrating your skin. Hydration lasts on average 6 hours.
• Use Monoi before and after sun exposure, to nourish your skin, hydrate it and soften it. It will restructure more quickly, regenerate effectively, and therefore brown healthily more quickly. Without any particular additive, Monoï is a tan extender. The sun filters contained in certain Monoï are suitable for already tanned skin or for short exposures of the skin and hair.
• By depositing a hydrophobic film on your skin, Monoï protects against the cold, sea salt and wind bites, like a second skin!
• When massaging the whole or part of the body, a small amount is enough to hydrate the entire body. Warm it in the palms of the hands, Monoï is ideal for the sore, most dry areas of the body (elbows, knees, hands, feet, etc.), to warm a feverish body, or simply for the pleasure of massage!
• A few drops of Monoï in your bath perfume this moment of relaxation.

Monoï de Tahiti comes from the maceration of Tiaré Tahiti “Gardenia tahitensis” flower buds in “Cocos nucifera” refined coconut oil, extracted from coconuts harvested in French Polynesia at the ripe nut stage, on soils of coral origin.
These are dried coconuts from which the famous refined oil is obtained, the fundamental basis of Monoï de Tahiti. These come exclusively from the coral soils of French Polynesia and are dried naturally. They produce a light and silky oil prized by the largest laboratories around the world
This is the emblematic flower of Tahiti and its islands. A symbol of purity and beauty, it is also among the most important natural raw materials in traditional Polynesian pharmacopoeia. It is found in many soothing, softening and restorative preparations. The fresh flowers used in the manufacture of Monoï de Tahiti come exclusively from the islands of Tahiti and Moorea.
The iconic Monoï Tiki serves as the standard throughout French Polynesia’s islands. The iconic “Monoï Tiare Tahiti” bottle, adorned with a dried Tiaré flower, is widely recognised. This Monoï Appellation d’Origine was the first Monoï released in Tahiti and is currently manufactured in Faaa, near Papeete, by La Parfumerie Tiki since 1942. Today, this traditional Polynesian family and artisanal enterprise can be proud of the success of its product line, both in Tahiti and globally.
