PRACTICE

Migraine: add 1 drop of EO in 4 drops of VO. Then massage on the forehead and/or on the back neck

Shock: in the next few seconds, think of peppermint essential oil simultaneously to avoid bruising or oedema. If the area is small, apply a pure drop.

Digestive and urinary tract problems

  • Temporary constipation: add 1 drop of EO 3 to 4 times a day in honey – after medical advice
  • Sickness, vomiting: pour a few drops on a handkerchief and breath
  • Add 1 drop on a sugar cube to suck to have a fresh breathe and stimulate the liver- after medical advice

Anti-fatigue :
In the morning, after medical advice, add 2 drops of EO on sugar. Then melt in the mouth and swallow. Repeat 3 days

You can also make a diffusion blend against exhaustion:

Mix 2 drops of each lemon/peppermint/basil and scots pine. Therefore, enjoy the diffusion twice a day, morning and evening for 1/2 hour

SUMMARY

Peppermint essential oil is a multifaceted agent that brings a host of benefits to both the digestive and respiratory systems, making it an indispensable addition to your wellness routine. With its refreshing aroma, peppermint oil is not only effective for refreshing the air in your home and getting rid of bad smells but also offers significant therapeutic effects.

Digestive System Support: Peppermint essential oil acts as a powerful regulator and general stimulant on the cardiac, digestive, and pancreatic systems. By relaxing the smooth muscles of the stomach, it decreases intestinal spasming which can lead to stomach pain, abdominal cramping, and trapped wind. A gentle massage using peppermint oil, or a hot/cold compress applied to the abdomen, can significantly ease these digestive symptoms. Peppermint oil also helps soothe nausea and minimize instances of vomiting, providing relief from these symptoms

Respiratory System Support: In the realm of respiratory health, peppermint essential oil serves as a nasal, hepatic, and prostatic decongestant. Its expectorant property is crucial for thinning and expelling excess mucus, thus relieving symptoms associated with thick phlegm and blocked sinuses. The oil’s analgesic properties can also soothe sore, aching muscles that often accompany frequent coughing and respiratory infections. Furthermore, as a potent microbicide, bactericide, fungicide, and antiseptic, peppermint oil helps combat the germs causing respiratory ailments. For easing muscle pain and headaches triggered by respiratory complaints, a massage blend incorporating peppermint oil can be applied to the chest, neck, and shoulders.

Moreover, the oil’s refreshing and cleansing characteristics can be diffused throughout the home to improve air quality and provide a soothing environment for those suffering from colds and other respiratory issues. It is advisable to use peppermint oil diffusion during the day and discontinue at night to promote a restful sleep.

By integrating peppermint essential oil into your health regimen, you can harness its extensive capabilities to support and enhance the functioning of your digestive and respiratory systems, while also enjoying its broader benefits as a skin regenerator and muscular relaxant.
