Product Description
WHO AM I?
Processing method of petitgrain essential oil: steam distillation
Part of the plant: leaves and twigs
Odour: Fresh, floral and green
Chakra: Sacral Chakra
Origin: Paraguay
Botanical name: Citrus aurantium L. ssp. amara var. pumilia
Family: Rutaceae
Several essential oils are coming from this tree:
- petitgrain bigarade EO (leaves) whose main properties are close to that of the fine lavender EO.
- neroli EO (flower): it is recognized for its anti-anxiety and anti-depressant properties superior to the first one.
- Its fruit, the bitter orange, is not really edible. Indeed, the zest of its fruit provides an essence traditionally used in liqueurs.
The essential oil of Petitgrain bigarade has similar properties to the essential oil of Neroli, but is cheaper than this one
Chemistry:
- Monoterpenols: linalool (18 to 32%), alpha-terpineol (3 to 8%)
- Esters: linalyl acetate (36 to 57%), geranyl acetate (2 to 6%)
100 % pure & natural without any other additives – ORGANIC

I have been using petitgrain essential oil for several months now. I put a couple of drops on a handkerchief at night and put it under my pillow. The faint perfume stays with me all night. I love it !!
