Oleic acid -omega 6 (17 to 39%), linoleic acid -omega 9 (30 to 55%), Palmitic acid (12 to 20), Stearic acid (8 to 18%)

PROPERTIES OF TAMANU OIL
- tonic, circulatory, vascular protector: limits the problems of circulation like varicose veins or haemorrhoids. It is also often used in cases of rosacea.
- Blood thinner: by thinning the blood, it limits the formation of blood clots (useful against varicose veins, heavy legs and also haemorrhoids).
- anti-inflammatory: inhibits certain factors and mediators of inflammation. Thus, this VO is often used for muscular pains, osteoarthritis or rheumatism.
- antiseptic: recommended in case of mycosis, herpes, shingles, even scabies or ringworm.
- Healing: for mucous membranes and skin. It can be applied to wounds, acne pimples, eczema, shingles, stretch marks and also bedsores.
- anti-oxidant : rich in both polyphenols and vitamin E
- skin regenerator: brings back both suppleness and elasticity to the skin
- softener: by reinforcing the skin’s hydrolipidic film
- lymphatic drainer: stimulates lymph circulation

PRACTICE
- Soothing oils for skin prone to redness,

For the body
In a local application (for sunburn, stretch marks, burns, mosquito bites or also eczema).
As a massage oil to relieve muscle and joint pain thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties. As a massage oil, it is best to dilute it with a more penetrating oil such as sweet almond oil to facilitate application.
For hair
Apply the oil to your dull, dry locks, and then leave the oil on your hair for an hour. After that, wash your hair using a mild shampoo. No need to use a conditioner.
For the face
Add a few drops to your usual moisturizer to facilitate its application. This oil is highly beneficial for all skin types.
Locally on specific areas such as pimples, patches or redness, to soothe the skin and promote healing.
Against rosacea:
Mix a little tamanu oil with a drop of helichrysum essential oil.
For dry and atopic skin:
Mix 50 ml of tamanu oil, 50 ml of calendula macerate, 2 drops of geranium and myrrh essential oils and 1 drop of helichrysum essential oil.

For pregnant women, it is recommended to mix it with almond oil
Due to its activity on blood circulation, this Tamanu oil is not recommended in the event of treatment with anticoagulants. Ask your doctor for advice.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Keep it in the original bottle, away from air and light, at a temperature below 25C
At a temperature below 10°C, there is a risk of crystallisation of the VO. To avoid this phenomenon and for a better conservation, store it in a cool, dry place away from daylight.
Don’t forget to close your oil after use to prevent it from oxidising
