INDICATION OF WINTERGREEN ESSENTIAL OIL

HEALTH

-muscle and joint pain. -muscle contractions -back pain -arthritis

PRACTICE

• Inflammatory pain:

Arthritis, Poly-arthritis, osteoarthritis

1 drop of wintergreen EO in 10 drops of VO, then massage on the area up to 3 times a day

Tendinitis (tennis elbow…)

1 drop of wintergreen EO in 10 drops of VO, then massage 3 times a day

Rheumatism, gout

2 drops of wintergreen EO in 20 drops of VO, then massage 3 times a day (maximum 4 days)

• Muscular pain:

Tired or painful muscles

1 drop of wintergreen EO in 10 drops of VO, massage on the area up to 3 times a day

Sporting activity or burnout

1 drop of wintergreen EO in 10 drops of VO, then massage the area up to 3 times a day

Cramps

1 drops of wintergreen EO in 10 drops of VO,  then massage on the muscle, which can be repeated after 30min

• Slight hepatic weakness, sequels of hepatitis

1 drops of wintergreen EO in 10 drops of VO,  then massage on the liver

CAUTION

• Not advised during the first 3 months of pregnancy and in small children
• Forbidden during pregnancy (all the time)
• Do not use pure on the skin, in other words, make a strong dilution in vegetable oil (10% EO maximum in 90% VO – 3% EO in 97% VO for more extensive areas). As a rule, test the product by applying a little in the crook of your elbow or on your wrist before using it, at least 48 hours prior to use.
• Avoid eye and mucous membranes contact.
• Not advised for application on large areas (back, thighs…)
• Usage 5 days on 7
• Using an external heat source (heating pad, hot water bottle) can increase the risk of irritation
• This essential oil is not recommended for inhalation and diffusion.
• Not advised for people allergic to aspirin (Fluidify the blood= prevents healing/scarring)
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Stop wintergreen EO 48 hours before any surgery
• Do not use on a sensitive or damaged skin
• Dilute before use in an aromatic bath (in a dispersant such a powdered milk, Epsom salt)
• Not advised for people undergoing an anti-coagulation treatment
• Avoid oral usage.

STORAGE OF WINTERGREEN ESSENTIAL OIL

Keep in original bottle, away from air and light, at a temperature below 25C

Shelf life: 4 years from when you open the bottle
