Evening primrose oil provides multiple benefits to the skin. It is usually recommended in the treatment of eczema, and psoriasis. It also contributes to the reduction of acne, skin lesions and inflammation of the skin.
Acne: Skin disease has manifestations ranging from blackheads to nodules to pimples. Sometimes a source of complex, acne is considered both hormonal and inflammatory.
Eczema: source of itching and complex, eczema has multiple causes. Generally, an inflammatory aspect is also present.
Using this carrier oil also improves the general condition of the skin, including its firmness, strength, hydration and elasticity. The gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) in evening primrose oil is necessary for the functioning mechanism and structure of the skin. Any type of skin, whether mature or oily, can benefit from the benefits that this oil offers. The fatty acids also present in this oil give it powerful moisturizing properties. They restore the lipid film that protects the skin from external attacks. In addition, it is rich in vitamin E and triterpene acids, both vectors of antioxidant properties limiting the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
